The best part of having TV shows is watching them with a group of friends. There are many character archetypes in modern television that have become the comedic relief in shows. (See ”The Best Netflix Shows Right Now” on Rankito). Some examples of these characters are the straight man, the sassy black woman, and the clueless white guy.
The straight man is a role that has an endless supply of humor. The sassy black woman will never say no to free food and will always be self-reliant. And let’s not forget about clueless white guys – they’re easy to make fun of because they’ve never learned how to act around different ethnicities or cultures!
Our best comic relief always comes from TV because it’s the only medium that can allow us to laugh at people who do despicable things, in real life.
